Military music in Russia as such has appeared on the lands of Moscow in 1547 and since then has been and remains the pitchfork of the soul of a Russian soldier.
Russian military music, created in the army and for the army, has become a unique event in the music history of Russia. Works composed for the military brass bands were brightly reflected in the heroic history of Russia and in the high level of culture.
