The Children’s Choreographic Ensemble of Ziya Bazhaev

Founded in 1999, the Choreographic Ensemble of Ziya Bazhaev, headed by Topa Elimbayev, People’s Artist, has been successfully performing on the most famous world concert venues and is the laureate of various festivals and shows both in Russia and abroad.

The young dancers have delighted the audiences in the Ukraine, Hungary, France, Germany, Italy, United Arab Emirates, Iraq and other countries. Performances of the young dancers open the beauty and passion of the folk dances of North Caucasus. A distinguished feature of the passionate and elegant dancing of the Ensemble is the unique welding of the customs and cultures of different nations, supreme choreography and masterful performance.

Topa Elimbayev, choreographer and graduate of the State Institute of Theatre Arts, was teaching in the Berlin College of Choreography. During 30 years he has been heading the folk dance ensemble Weinach, the visit card of the country. Under his direction the Children’s Choreographic Ensemble named after Ziya Bazhaev, created in 1999, have been demonstrating the brightness, talent, beauty and culture of the North Caucasus folk dances.
